LPG stands for Liquified Petroleum Gas and is composition of Hydrogen and Carbon gases. It can be Propane, Butane, or mixture of both. LPG is colorless and odorless in its natural state and powerful odorant is added for leakage detection. LPG is produced as a by-product during processing of wet gases at oil fields and refining of crude oil at refineries. Propane and Butane are both gases in ambient conditions but can be liquified under modest pressure and temperature conditions. It can easily and safely be stored at room temperature.
